Sammo Hung Kambo, a veteran Hong Kong actor and martial arts choreographer, has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards (2023). The star of over 200 films in various roles, he is famous for his portrayal of kung fu heroes in the United States.

The BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize was established in 2022, sponsored by the Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited. It recognises scientific researchers and innovators in Hong Kong who demonstrate extraordinary achievements, and influence the application or transformation of their scientific research results for the benefit of society. The prize is a great inspiration for scientists in Hong Kong to continue their innovative exploration, establish themselves in Hong Kong, and contribute to the nation and the world. It also inspires young people to study science in Hong Kong, and to become leaders of the future.
